Pastor Charles and Emily

Resident Pastors

Charles and Emily Fales are Resident Pastors at Feed Store Church. Charles was saved at the age of sixteen, after being involved in some things that were not pleasing to God.   He told God he would turn his life over to Him if He would get him out of the situation he was in at the time.  God was faithful, and Charles has been faithful as well.  He began going to church in Liberty Hill, Texas, and it was there that he started his career as a clown.  While doing professional clowning, and ministering in a clown group called the “Heavenly Nitwits” around the Austin area, his clown partner and he were asked to come to Brownwood and become a ministry in the church.

Charles was discipled by Pastor Ken for 2 years, and during this time he realized that he was called into the ministry.  He attended and graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  After graduating in 1997, he wanted to return to Heartland Church to serve in the church body; however, God told him to go to serve in a church in Austin instead.  After serving at Victory Christian Center of Austin for 6 months, the Pastor asked him to be the Pre-teen Pastor and Bus Ministry Director.  In 1998 Emily started attending at Victory Christian Center and gave her heart to Jesus.  During her time there she started volunteering and then was hired on as receptionist.  Charles and Emily had become friends as she was volunteering in the Preteen and Bus ministry.  In March of 2000 Charles and Emily were married.  Charles served as Children’s Pastor, Children’s Evangelist, and with Emily served as Bible Fellowship leaders to married couples, children with single moms, children with divorced parents, and were assistant leaders with the parenting classes.  During their time at Victory Christian Center Emily graduated from Victory Bible Institute and they both continued to seek God for His will in their lives.  In 2007 Charles and Emily and their three daughters and son moved to Brownwood and have been serving faithfully under Pastor Ken and Dawn.  God has anointed them to minister to families, blended families, children and youth,  and they are committed to share the love of  God to the community of Santa Anna.
